TOEFL iBT® Paper Edition Free Test Offer – Frequently Asked Questions


1. Who is eligible for the free TOEFL iBT® Paper Edition test offer?

Test takers in the United States or Colombia who purchase a TOEFL iBT Paper Edition test by 11:59 p.m U.S. Eastern Time on November 30, 2022 will receive a free voucher code for a second Paper Edition test.

2. When does the voucher code expire?

Voucher codes must be redeemed by 11:59 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on May 31, 2023.

3. Can I use the voucher code for a TOEFL iBT test at a test center, TOEFL iBT  Home Edition or TOEFL® Essentials™ test?

No. The voucher code is only redeemable for one TOEFL iBT Paper Edition test.

4. What if I have to reschedule or cancel my TOEFL iBT Paper Edition test?

5. I received the score I wanted, and I don’t need to take the test again. Can I give my voucher code to a friend or family member?

Yes. If you don’t need or want to retake the TOEFL iBT Paper Edition, you can give your unique code to someone else. All terms and conditions will apply.

6. I lost the email with my voucher code. Who should I contact?

Please reach out to [email protected] for assistance and include “TOEFL iBT Paper Edition Voucher” in the subject line. In your request, please include the following information that you used to register for your initial test in your ETS account: first name, last name, email address and testing location.
